This is the 4th truck cap I've bought over 30yrs, but my first ARE. I won't mention the other brands, but I'll never buy anything other than an ARE again. In my opinion, the basic design of the TW is superior to that of other brands, from the aerodynamic wind-flow shape to the molded wraparound rails and window shape/placement. It's a perfect fit to my truck's bedrails and tailgate, perfect color match, and the fit and finish of the cap itself is impeccable. The fold-down front window option is a welcome choice that I was never offered by other brands I bought, and is essential for easy cleaning of the cab's rear window. My local dealer, Steve Wilson of Al-Ron's in Egg Harbor NJ, was extremely helpful with my selection and had my cap competently and perfectly installed less than two weeks after I placed my order; the extra effort on his part to explain the care and operation, and to clean the windows and my bedmat after the install, made this purchase a topnotch experience all around.
