| | | Quality Slipping at A.R.E.A.R.E. Z Series Z Series : Toyota Tacoma
August 01, 2016 Posted by: Jake
This is my 5th A.R.E. camper shell. This one is a Z series for my 2016 Toyota Tacoma Off Road, short bed. The shell looks good from the outside but definitely lack of the quality I became acustom to on the inside...screws are overtightened causing compression of window frames, inside carpeting job looks like it was done by a first timer. I purchased the factory installed Yakima rack system and they didn't even bother to center it properly on the cab so now I have significant gaps showing on the base rails at the back. The local company I purchased from did a great job on install. I get a new truck every few years so next time I will probably go with SNUG Top
