Z Series Z Series : Nissan Titan August 24, 2020    Posted by: Jeff This is my third purchase of an A.R.E. Topper. I purchased my first A.R.E. Tuck Cap in 1991, from a dealer around Martinsburg, Ohio. This went on a 1991 Chevy S-10, and I absolutely loved it. My second topper was for a 2004 Nissan Titan, this one I had painted to match the color of the truck, and it definitely made the truck look sleek and sexy. I still have it today and the paint is still holding up, 16 years later. The most recent purchase is for a 2020 Nissan Titan. I was at first hesitant because it has the shorter bed, but this topper brings out the best of this truck. I looks AMAZING! It is quite evident that all of the toppers have been precisely engineered to fit the bed of the truck to "Perfection", without allowing the original finish of the vehicle to be touched. It made my Sierra look comparable to a Yukon, and with the Yakima roof rack it really all looks great together. When it finally arrived I wasn't happy with the color match the finish had a lot of solvent pop and the front was really dry. One of the windows had caulk seapingout and wasn't cleaned up. Also, inside the window frame there is a gap. Some of the carpet is a little rough. Decal on side is crooked. I like the cap overall. But it seems it was rushed, still had a lot of fiberglass dust??
