This is my second ARE tonneau cover. I used the first one for 11 years on 2 trucks. I kept it well waxed and it still looked new. This is why I bought the second LSX Ultra for my 2018 GMC Sierra. Outstanding design and quality. I really like the Slam Lock Latch and keyless remote. I purchased it from Aero-Trim, Imlay City, Michigan. John the owner did a great install job and took great care of my new truck.

This cap fits like a glove. Comes with the exact color to match my truck. The tint makes it hard to see inside, yet easy to see out. The BedRug make it complete by matching the Z Series interior material and makes it a comfort to store what ever fits inside to protect my belongings. The padding is easy on the knees and easy to clean. I personally researched to pick what i wanted and to me, this is the King of Caps.

 Bad shell

I purchased a shell 1 year ago. Lift gate leaked water and could not be fixed. A.R.E. replaced the shell last spring. The new shell leaks just as bad as the first shell. Do not purchase a shell from them if you want to keep things dry, the main reason I purchased a shell.
