 A.R.E. CX Camper Shell
A.R.E. Cx Series
CX Classic : Ford F150

I just had this shell installed on my new Ford truck. It appears to fit well and has an attractive, well-lined interior. The rear lift door is solid, has strong pistons, and fits the detail of the truck bed gate. The drop down rear window of the shell is a nice feature for cleaning the shell and truck windows. I have yet to test the shell for water-tight seals. That is my only concern at this time.

I just picked up my V series A.R.E. from David and Daniel at Johnson GT at Airline DR. in Houston. I would like to thank them for the great product and the work they did to insure satisfaction. The fit and finish cannot be beat and the color matches perfectly (it is a very hard color to match). Their service before and during the install are excellent and I highly recommend them. Thanks, David

Difficult to find cover for my stepside as they only were made for 3 years. Fits good and looks great. Paint matched well. Only took 2 weeks for manufacture, and 1/2 hr. to install. When I got home I checked over the system and found the 2 hinge screws had pulled through the holes. I removed the screws and put a washer under the screw to secure it. Only complaint is cost. $1200 is high for a tonneau cover. I bought a full camper top on my ranger for just over 1000.
