Ordered & paid in full on 12/4/23. Canopy was installed on 2/2/24. When I arrived to pick it up, the dealer wanted to point out some damage. I won’t lie, I was shocked! For this being a new, direct-shipped from the factory canopy, it was beat to hell!Chips in the color matched body so white spots were very visible in the grey paint. Seams in the aluminum window frames gnarly and showing bare metal. The pet screens that I paid extra for were cut wrong and didn't sit flush. The glass of the rear slider had chunks out of it. The whole rear glass assembly was thrashed like sand-paper and/or hammer had been taken to it. Knicks out of the painted aluminum so the shiny metal underneath was very noticeable. Even the dealer commented they had not received a canopy from ARE so beat up before. What luck! The dealer said they had taken pictures of everything and sent back to ARE to get replacement parts sent out. I’m still waiting and it’s been a week already. CX Classic : Ford F250 Super Duty January 31, 2024    Posted by: Gman I received a quote from one Johnson GT dealer and was going to purchase it but when I mentioned the A.R.E. Rebate The salesman starting increasing the quote, very shady. I went to a different Johnson GT they gave me a sightly higher quote than the first (mainly higher instal cost) but accepted the the rebate and the over all costs was cheaper than the first dealer’s quote. I hate when someone lyes . Bottom do your due delinquents. And, never had a problem. Don't remember the manufacturers. When I purchased my RAM, I ordered the cap thru the dealer. I knew the cost would be higher than doing it on my own, but the convenience was worth it, or so I thought. It took 3 months to receive the cap. Once it was installed, it leaked every time it rained. While the dealer was working on it, I wrote to ARE. Auto response said expect comtact in 1-2 business days. After 2+ weeks, I got an email that stated my issue was DONE. I had received no contact from Customer Service. After 3 more cycles, I finally got a response with a name. Unfortunately, still no response.
