I owned my previous one for 10 years and was very satisfied with the quality and performance of the cap. The fit and finish is excellent. The cab high design is perfect for my application. I just bought a CX for my Tacoma. I’ve had several problems with it but managed to fix most of them myself. 1.The gas props are too long. When the door is open the door is pointing straight up making it hard to reach to close it. The dealer seemed uninterested in fixing it so I sourced my own props and replaced them($90). 2.The optional pet screens were installed crooked and were destroyed by my dog the first time out. I replaced the screens with heavier material($80). 3.The side windows leaked. I resealed them with silicon ($10). 4.The exterior window seals are too short.
