| | | Topper leaks FN Series : Ford F150

I bought a Z2 topper for my 2022 F150 to take on a trip out west for 30 days this year . I have had nothing but trouble since it was delivered from the factory to the place I bought it . When I first seen it I noticed the shipping boards it was shipped with had chipped the bottom left rear pretty bad , so it was shipped back for repair . When it was installed it looked like someone had taken sandpaper all over both sides of the top it was really visible ,i was told they could send it back but we may not get it back before our trip so I agreed I would bring it back when our trip was over so they could have the scratches buffed out according to the dealer they are being paid by ARE to have that done . So we go on our trip and the first rainstorm we get into drowns everything we are have to sleep on in the back of the truck , it leaks very bad at the top of the rear door next to the hinges , then both fold out side windows broke , one the handle broke and the other the handle came completly unglued from the glass it was attached to . I never write reviews on anything but this time I'm making an exception after I called ARE customer service to complain she was of no help at all and told me that those problems were between me and my dealer .You would think you would get a better product or customer service after spending neary $4400.00 for a top . I wish I had bought another brand or anything else but that top its totally been nothing but bad problems since I first laid eyes on it .Im very unsatisfied .

Not watertight whatsoever wet tools, wet everything... had it sent back to ARE 2 times to get repaired, came back worse, expect to have wet equipment, tools & supplies. do not take it to car wash & prey for no rain.

Very poor finish on cut and window installation.. rough and unsanded cuts, and sawblade over cuts with sawing cut outs at tailgate, window frames bent and over tightened to the point it bent frames looks like crap, also window frames have a terrible fit - one side 3/4” from touching the other side about 1/4” looks bad, outside fits truck great and looks good except around the bottom and there’s unfinished damage on the bottom inside cab wall; all this at first glance makes me wonder if the complete build was done as bad as the finished camper top? Will not be referring ARE to anyone, and I am going to remove all company logo from my top, not advertising.
